This truly was an amazing city break. You couldn't hope for a better location, its around the corner from the Spanish Steps, a 5-10 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain. Hundreds of designer shops, plenty of boutiques and some of the best restaurants and cafes in Rome. The apartment itself is in a quiet courtyard, no passing traffic, no noise atall. Comfy bed, air con, relaxing shower are just the main things needed after a long day exploring Rome. The owner is very helpful, punctual and was more than happy to be of assistance throughout your your stay. Please don't look any further! I promise you will not be disappointed staying here, it will be cheaper and better than the rest. I look forward to reading your reviews!
The best thing about this web site and the apartment is that there were no surprises. the service excellent, the communication was prompt and helpful. The apartment pictures show you exactly what to expect. This was our first trip to Italy, no idea where to stay but after being here and spending a week of exploring, my wife I felt this was the part of Rome to be in, everything is close and convient, lots of excellent restaurants and very good pricing. The only drawback could be that on Saturday night the bar below is open late, a little noisy but, the very comfortable bed help us to sleep right through the noise. Graet place to stay cannot say enogh good things.

As the first residents in this lovely apartment, I'd to encourage other travellers to stay here. The apartment is smack in the heart of Trastevere (you see Piazza di Santa Maria from the window - gets lively in the evenings), in an area easily accessible by public transportation and within reasonable walking distance to many of Rome's main attractions and also to less touristy areas (20min walk to Piazza Navona, and if you don’t mind a longer walk - 40 min to the Colosseum, but you can get there via the bus too). Nearby are many good restaurants (touristy and non-touristy), shopping strips (where average Romans shop too) and an outdoor market and two supermarkets (at the Piazza di San Cosimato, a 5 minute walk). A few minute walk to the beautiful river.
The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need (except for a sharp knife..) and with windows and shutters that block the outdoor sound and light (if the noise and light from the Piazza bothers you). The bed is queen size, and very comfortable. There is also a fire place, but we didn't try it. The kitchen is small but fully functional.
A few small tips.
- Don't confuse Via di ARCO di San Calisto with Via di San Calisto. The two are nearby and it's easy to confuse the two.
- From the airport, take the train to Trastevere, and then get the #8 tram to Sonnino, which is one stop before the river. Then walk west on via della Lungaretta (the train is going north, so west would be to your left) till you hit San Calisto. Then turn left.
Overall this is a perfect spot for a couple, at a reasonable price. Cheaper and far nicer than a hotel. We both were happy and recommend it to others.

Appartement très bien placé pour visiter Rome. On peut tout faire à pied, sauf le Vatican. Agréable pour 2 à 5 personnes. Attention , la station de métro Cavour n'est pas située sur la place Cavour . A l'arrivée le Shuttle nous a laissés place Cavour loin de l'appartement.
Heerlijk ruim en goed ingericht appartement, van alle gemakken voorzien. Goede ligging t.o.v. metro, leuke restaurantjes en bezienswaardigheden. En heel makkelijk dat er een supermarkt in de straat is.

ottima posizione, pulito, tutto nuovo e con tutti i comfort...se siete 2 coppie un po' poca privacy perché non c'è porta alla camera ma un corridoio con una tenda. per due va benissimo. ottima la torta fatta in casa che ci hanno fatto trovare per la colazione per la colazione!

I insistantly recommend to look the wideo about the apartment registered professionally. Even if you not choose to stay in Roma you'll check the ancient Roma odour possible to receive.

Excellent location a few steps from the colosseo. Bed is comfortable. Kitchen adequately equiped for simple cooking. Be aware that people with reduced mobility/aged/overweight should avoid renting this appartment considering the winding/narrow stairs you have to climb leading to the bed. Very small warm water tank, so expect cold showers. Did not smell great, but it is quite common in Roma. So, overall, good appartment for the price, but be aware of these inconvenieces.

My wife and I loved this apartment, it was in a perfect position for visiting the Vatican, piazza Navona, and many of the major attractions are within walking distance. It was also near a bus route.
The apartment is surrounded by many excellent restruarants, cafes, and has a handy supermarket nearby.
The owner was very helpful, allowing us to have late checkout, as no one was expected in the apartment until next morning. The arrival and checkout went smoothly and on time.
The only negative thing about the position of the apartment is that it is very dark during the day as it gets no natural light, but this can also be an advantage as it is very cool when the temperature is hot outside.
We would definately stay there again.

The apartment is very centrally located and a perfect size for my husband and me. It has a lot of natural light. Our contact person, Enzio and the owner Vanessa were very warm, helpful and immediately responsive when we had an internet problem. We'd definitlely stay there again and highly recommend the place. Just be aware that it's a 4 floor walk-up with no lift - but great way to stay in shape without a gym!

Si l'appartement est spacieux et bien situé, il y a beaucoup à redire en ce qui concerne son entretien et son état:
- il n'y avait pas de assez de papier toilette
-il n'y avait pas de produits pour faire la vaisselle, ni de produits d'entretien
-la cafetiere était cassée (l'anse était brisée)
- l'une des 2 cuvettes de toilettes était sale
- il n'y avait pas de torchon pour essuyer la vaisselle
- l'une des 2 douches ne fonctionnait pas bien, et l'eau était froide la plupart du temps
- pas de wifi (malgré les efforts de Achille, il n'a jamais fonctionné)
- une poignée de porte de salle de bain ne tenait pas, nous devions faire attention à chaque fois qu'on ouvrait ou fermait la porte
et surtout:
les fenètres des chambres (notamment celle avec le grand lit) n'avaient pas de double vitrage et étaient TRES abimées; L'une des 2 fermait mal (celle de la chambre avec le grand lit). Nous avons très mal dormi car il y avait beaucoup de bruit, en raison de la vétusté des fenètres. Vous verrez sur les photos qu'il y avait des fentes dans le bois de cette fenetre.

The apartment was perfect for us. We loved the area, the rooms were well-furnished and, except for a glitch with the dishwasher, all of the appliances worked well. We highly recommend this apartment.
L'appartamento rispecchia fedelmente le foto che avevamo visto sul sito! Una casa piena di luce, ben arredata e con tutti i confort. Dalla finestra interna si può godere di un delizioso cortile fiorito dal sapore "romano-popolare" e la domenica mattina svegliarsi sul mitico mercato di porta portese è una vera emozione! Tra Testaccio e Trastevere l'ubicazione è praticamente perfetta e se si vuole andare in centro basta prendere un autobus sotto casa e si è subito a Piazza Venezia.
I "padroni" di casa sono stati gentilissimi e molto disponibili. Lo consiglio a tutti!

This apartment exceeded our expectations, we enjoyed every minute of our holiday. It really felt like being in a quiet village while you were home and it only took a short walk to get in the heart of nightlife and fun.

Superbe appartement, très bien situé, proche du métro et de plusieurs lignes de bus. Commerces alimentaires et restaurants à proximité.

The only complaint we had was that there was no kettle and had to boil our water for tea in a saucepan. Otherwise we had a grear stay and would recomend the appartment to others.

Just an idea a file... with information about the local resturants, how the metro and bus system works and how to dispose of rubbish and bottles would have been useful.

Man nimmt sofort am römisch und positiv -touristischen Leben teil..Extrem schwierig für Ältere..nein, unmöglich..da ein enger Aufstieg im Turm über 50 Stufen, dann jeweils extrem enge Wendeltreppen in die obere Etage und auf die wundervolle kleine Terasse über den Dächern v Rom, mit Blick zum Petersdom..Wasserdruck vor allem im oberen Bereich ( Kinder ..!!??) zu schwach, mussten alle in der recht engen Elterndusche ..Lage phantastisch, direkt am campo dei fiori..vertrauenswürde französische Vermieterin..Einrichtung ok, alles da, was man braucht (bis auf Toaster..:-S)..Betten ok, TV 680 Sender, aber alle Italienisch!!!! grauenvoll..Strom und Aufladen der Geräte in Ordnung..insgesamt schöne positive Erfahrung..
Sono stato con la mia ragazza, sta a trastevere che è piena di vita notturna, ma in un posto davvero silenzioso, sono stato contento perché l'appartamento è molto pulito e simpatico per come hanno giocato con i colori, c'è tutto quello che serve, la padrona è stata molto cordiale, il rapporto qualità prezzo è onesto, lo consiglio vivamente.
Appartement très sympa pour 4 personnes avec wifi et tout ce qu'il faut pour être autonome pendant 1 semaine. Il est super bien situé : 20 minutes du vatican en bus, 15 minutes à pied du colisse et palatin. 15 minutes à pied du quartier trastevere qui est un quartier très dynamique. Wifi dans l'appartement Acceuil très agréable serviable et tres patient. Présence téléphonique en français (demandez Lune) Le must : il est possible de se garer en bas de l'immeuble gratuitement dans une avenue très sûre. À réserver les yeux fermés
Very nice and big apartment that has everything you need for a vacation in Rome.
We did enjoy this apartment. Maria & her husband were helpful in overcoming initial problems with the hot water & air conditioning. Washing machine, good size fridge, cooktop & oven. The lighting is a bit sparse. The location is very convenient to the Termini & the local Metro stop is just around the corner. There is a bar directly across the way which stays open until 2am with most people gathering outside. It was not too bothersome but good to know beforehand. Bed was 2 twins together with no footboard which was fine for us tall people. We'd certainly stay here again.
O.k. - the apartment was a bit worn and there was not a lot of glassware to drink out of.....but, it is in a super duper excellent location where we could walk to the Forum, Trevi, Pantheon, etc with ease. The neighborhood is very safe and I felt comfortable having my family there. If you are only in Rome for a few days - this is the place.
The location was good. There were several bus lines that took you to city center. I am a spoiled american so take this next comment with this in mind. There is a washer, but no dryer and a broken clothes line that a bird sit above. Needs a microwave as well. The courtyard is spectacular and the apartment complex is beautiful with nice trees. Alberto and Raffa, the hosts are quite accomodating and helpful. We did have to pay 30 euros extra to check out early to catch a 7:00 am flight.
This appartement couldn't be situated better - directly in the middle of the old city of Rome within walking distance of everything there is to see!
It is well equipped, also with everything you need in a kitchen if you want to cook yourself.
The terrace on the roof (which you do not share with anybody) with sun in the late afternoon completes the impression of a perfect holiday flat.

Comfortable apartment. Clean, big, beautifull, full kitchen equipement, clean sheets and towels.
Good location, close to termini and metro station. Easy to walk to city centre in 15 - 20 minutes.

Wohnung mit bunt zusammengewürfelten Mobilar, alles schon älter. Bad mit Dusche sehr klein. Waschbecken im Durchgang zum andern Zimmer. Drittes Bett war als Hochbett eingerichtet, erreichbar über eine Leiter.
Küche ausreichend, alles was man braucht ist da.
Große Terasse, leider keine bequemen Sitzmöglichkeiten.
Weite Aussicht über Rom.
Das Stadtviertel ist sehr asiatisch geprägt. Standort günstig, alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar.

The roof terrace is perfect for evening relaxation. Stairs to the top of a very narrow.
The room is small, but to stop for one week - is sufficient.

Me and my friends did enjoy our stay in Rome. The value of provided accomodation was excellent. Apartment is spacy and clean on very good locatily (10 min. from Vatican and no more than 5 min. from underground station). Highly recommended!

Apartement was leuk ingedeeld en aangekleed. Prettige en gezellige buurt met mooie en grote overdekte versmarkt en spar op 8 minuutjes lopen. In de buurt heerlijke ijswinkel, patisserie, allerlei winkels etc. Keuken redelijk uitgerust, pannetjes zijn wel aan vervanging toe. Goede oven, afwasmachine en koelkast, prima airco en wifi. Er staan al afwas en schoonmaakmiddelen, toiletpapier en een lekker flesje rode wijn. Eigenaar Felice spreekt goed Engels, per mail en sms uitstekend bereikbaar en zeer behulpzaam. Redelijk proper voor een mediteraan land, maar niet zoals we in Duitsland en Oostenrijk gewend zijn. Spiraalmatrassen, ietsje harder dan thuis, maar prima op gelegen; in het tweepersoonsbed rol je gelukkig niet naar het midden en geen opstaande rand, mocht je wat langer zijn. Katoenen beddengoed. Al met al, kunnen we het zeker aanbevelen en zouden we het zelf ook weer boeken.

L'appartamento e' ubicato in una zona di Roma veramente funzionale e meravigliosa (a tre minuti dai Fori Imperiali e dal Colosseo e ad un minuto dalla fermata metro Cavour). Per contro l'appartamento e' arredato in modo piuttosto spartano e avrebbe bisogno di essere rimodernato per risultare un po' più accogliente. Ad ogni modo e' molto funzionale, pulito ed ha materassi comodi (solo nella sala con divano letto può essere avvertito il suono che proviene dalla strada, la camera da letto si affaccia su di un tranquillo cortile interno che preserva da rumori di fondo, tipici di una via cittadina centrale- eco di voci dei passanti o rumore di furgoncini che consegnano merci ai negozietti sotto casa, non molte macchine). Gentile inoltre la Signora che si occupa di portare le chiavi, altrettanto la proprietaria che, su nostra richiesta, ha prontamente aggiunto alcune pentole inizialmente mancanti (credo che gli affitti vengano generalmente sottoscritti con turisti stranieri che non utilizzano ne scolapasta ne pentole alte per far bollire gli spaghetti!!! Comunque ora l'appartamento ne è' provvisto!!!). Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo ( un hotel in quella zona penso venda cara l'atmosfera magica di via pregne di vita, storia e romantici ristorantini- meraviglioso il gelato da Fata Morgana!!! Appartement confortable (taille de chambres, lits, salon) mais situé assez loin de centre-ville. Le wifi n’a pas fonctionné. Il n’y avait pas de gaz à la cuisine (nous avons fait le café aux microondes). Malgré le fait que la personne qui nous a accueilli était au courait rien n’a été fait.
Wonderful location - a quiet and picturesque street, 10 minutes walk from both the Colosseum and Termini station. The atmosphere inside is charming, a lovely, well kept-up and functional old Roman apartment (accordingly, be prepared to climb steep stairs up and down between rooms). Owners were incredibly quick to respond when there was a brief issue with the boiler, handling the problem efficiently and well. Really enjoyed our stay here!
Great location close to the major sites. Lots of room to spread out our bags, and lay on day beds. Only critisism is that the bed is not really big enough for two people, it is a king single. The towels, linen on the bed was also very old, but clean. Fix these two things and it would be a five star accomodation.
It's very good place to spent time in Roma. The location is nice (tram 5 and 14 or bus 105 direct to Termini). There are the all house utlilities, one needs in everyday life. (Fix the table, cos' for four person is too small).
Simple furnishings but spotlessly clean and very spacious and comfortable and all that was needed for resting at night. Fabulous location with plenty of nearby choice for eating, ranging from local snack bar to full service restaurants and wine bars or do it yourself in the appartment.
L'appartement est sympa et propre. Assez spacieux : nous étions trois adultes et on ne se marchait pas dessus. Il est par contre très sombre, il faut toujours avoir la lumière allumée, même en pleine journée (mais nous n'étions pas là pour rester dans l'appartement !!). Il est assez calme, donnant sur une cour intérieure, donc ça raisonne parfois un peu (surtout le samedi soir). Il est effectivement situé à 2 pas du métro, et à 10 minutes à pied de la gare Termini ou du Colisée. Nous n'avons pas regretté notre choix.
We stayed for a short break in the eternal city and found this apartment to be ideal for our trip. It's location is really excellent, with piazza Navona so close and the city all a walk away. It was really clean and modern with wifi and TV - not that we watched much, but also cozy and comfortable with a great view over the city. The bed was also very comfy and no probs with the city noises for us. We''d definitely recommend it.
Let me first say this was my first trip to Europe and the first time I've ever rented an apartment instead of staying in a hotel. I must say that Felice was very helpful when it came to letting us leave our luggage in the apartment before it was ready for our occupancy. He also arranged for transportation to an from the airport for our group of 5 and was available by phone if we needed him. The apartment itself was OK but we had major plumbing problems for a full two days.We could not use either toilet because they overflowed when we flushed and both sinks and both showers in the bathrooms would not drain. Felice had to call two different plumbers over a 48-hour period before the problem was resolved. The smell of toilet permeated the apartment the entire rest of the week despite our efforts to alleviate by opening the windows as much as possible. We were extremely disappointed. The apartment itself was adequate - once we could use the showers we really had no problem with water pressure or temperature that others had complained about. It was a good location for the tourist attractions we came to see and was very close to the metro.

Very busy in the evenings and if you don't like boisterous revellers outside your window late into the night, this is not the spot for you!
Peter was gracious in welcoming us to the apartment and explained everything in great detail. The apartment has everything you could need. Plenty of dishes. We did not cook, why would you with so many wonderful eating spots everywhere in Rome. We used the fridge to keep beer, wine, cheese and salami cold. I think the photos posted here are probably several years old, as the apartment seems a bit tired and not very clean. I wiped the kitchen bar off when we arrived, it's something I always do...it was filthy to be honest. Bedding was thin and not very nice.
In conclusion, this was in a wonderful location, but in future I would try something else. Wouldn't recommend.

Our guests opinion is very important to me and my staff, in order to continuosly improve our service.
We keep the utmost attention to cleanliness, even though sometimes it is hard to keep all the dust off especially in spring.
As far as our bedding is concerned, I have to admit that I was somewhat surprised. In five years we never had any complaint, however I've duly noted this fact and will take care of it.
I would like also to point out that that the photos in our site are no more than 4/5 months old.
Fact is that we are lucky ( and maybe deserve) to have many visitors, thus we paint and freshen up allover usually twice a year.
You are right also in mentioning the active night life of Campo dei Fiori( which by the way is very alive also during the day); as a matter of fact that is considered by many a point of attraction. Anyway my places have all, modern double, soundproof windows which filter most the noise.
In conclusion, while I apologize for any inconvenience, I thank you again for your words, which push me and my staff to strenghten our efforts to improve our hospitality.
