We were fairly happy with the apartment.  The location is great and the apartment is quiet and spacious.

However, we were cold in the evenings and couldn't find how to put on the heating - it wasn't helped by the fact that one bathroom window had to stay open as a water pipe of some kind comes through it!  I did call Rome Reference to ask about the heating and they told me that I had to contact the person who had met us at the apartment and arrange for him to come (it was too complicated and I didn't have time - shouldn't Rome Reference have looked after it for us?).

In general, the decor of the apartment is very old-fashioned and a bit sad (so many articifical flowers!).  But we did enjoy our stay.  Personally, I wouldn't recommend the apartment but some of our group said that they would do so.

The apartment was excellent. We loved Rome, we will definitely advise our friends and family and return to Rome or your other locations.

It's a great apartment, in a good location. The ONLY draw backs are: 1. No lift (but only 2 floor) 2. No instructions for Clothes washer or dishwasher (in english). 3. No clothes dryer. Other than that, this place is GREAT!!

The appartment was nice and clean, but not so big as it seemed from the pictures - still good for 7 people. Unfortunately TV was still a problem, but with the kind help of the owner, we got internet connection. Location of the appartment is good, everything can be reached within 30 minutes on foot. The only minus is that sun does not come in the windows.

The description and photos of this apartment are accurate so study them closely. For example - the shower in the second bathroom is right next to the toilet and there is a curtain you pull across half the bathroom to use it. Because of this we just ended up using the shower with the tub for everyone. Be advised that the apartment is in somewhat of a back alley with a well-worn exterior and the balcony is internal. This was the cheapest apartment I could find in Rome with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and it proved to me that the adage of "you get what you pay for" holds true. If I was going to Rome again I would pay more for a nicer place. Some specifics: First the good things - The place was clean and in a great location for accessing the metro and Ancient Rome and the correspondence from the people at Roman Reference was outstanding. The things that we didn't like - There is no coffee maker, no clothes dryer, the TV has no volume and the hot water went out a few times. Because of the lack of a dryer, you must hang wet clothes on the internal balcony which gets almost no sunlight (in fact, the apartment gets almost no sunlight) and when you get a freak thunderstorm in the middle of the night (as we did) you need to run out and grab everything before it gets soaked and hang it up all over the apartment. There is also a big streetlight just outside the bedrooms which makes it almost impossible to get the rooms completely dark. We had a stroller as well that we had to carry up and down the stairs since there is no elevator. Once again, all of the details listed in the description of the apartment are accurate (e.g. no dryer) but make sure you understand what that means for you as a visitor. One other note - there is no coffee table or end tables in the living/dining room. It doesn't occur to you until you go to sit on the couch with a drink and realize you have nowhere to put it.

The quality was very good; the location was perfect and very convenient to sites + metros. Very clean, felt very "local". Only complaint is that tv did not work.

Apartment was clean. It was a good size for my family (6 people). The area was nice and we felt very safe walking back to the apartment even late at night. We arrived early (~10:00am) and the keyholder met us and allowed us to leave our luggage in the apartment while the cleaning service was there. This was very helpful and very much appreciated. My only suggestions for improvement would be that the remote for the TV didn't work well and also it would be helpful to have directions for the washing machine in English. The display was in italian and we weren't really sure if we were washing in hot water, cold water, delicates, etc. I guess it didn't really matter though - our clothes got cleaned and we had a fantastic visit to Rome. I definitely would recommend this apartment and stay there again.

The location and size of this apartment was very good. When minor problems arose, the Roma Staff and owner were very quick to respond and take care of it. I would use this apartment again.

Apartment was in a good location, walking distance to Colleseum and few other sights. Easily accessible to the Metro. We did not have a car, but found it very easy to see everything in Rome from this location.

Apartment was nice, and easy process to collect keys and information about the area. We had 5 people (3 teenagers and 2 adults) in our group, and the size was right for us.
