This apartment is my little gem. It has been renovated in month's work by the owner (me!) and friends. It's tiny, but clean, colorful and comfortable! Rather noisy, because the windows are on street level. Wireless internet, apartment building terrace. The bed is a loft bed, so 3 stairs need to be climbed in order to get in bed. Small, but functional bathroom. Not unlimited hot water. This apartment is best suitable for young travelers--it rewards, rather than punishes the budget traveler.
ARRIVAL INFORMATION: From airports: The easiest way from Ciampino airport is to either take a shuttle bus (5-9 Euro) to the Termini train station and then take the tram (No. 14 or 5) to the apartment (the third stop on VIA PRENESTINA AFTER PORTA MAGGIORE), or the bus (no. 105) form the Termini train station (first stop on VIA CASILINA).
From the Fiumicino airport, it's best to take a train to the train station and proceed as mentioned above.
A taxi from the train station to the apartment should costs about 12 Euro.
