Thank you for having such a great website and great communication!

My wife and I just returned home to Boston, Massachusetts USA from our honeymoon in Rome. We had a lovely trip and stayed in 3 different locations in Italy. Our experience with Cities Reference was good and our apartment was nice. The Keyholder Enzo was gracious and helpful.

I am writing because the hot water in our apartment did not work. This was very disappointing and caused us to leave Rome early. We had one hot shower the night we arrived and only one after it was repaired. After this it was only cold.

Enzo communicated with the apartment owner about the problem. A plumber came the next day but the water was only hot for one shower after the plumber came. Again we talked to Enzo. He advised turning on all the faucets to improve the water flow. This did not work either. We left after that. We left more than a day early because it was too inconvenient to have no hot water.

Please refund us 35% of our payment. We are thankful for the owner for trying to fix the water. Unfortunately, the fix was not successful. We thank the owner unconditionally.

There is a very nice view from the terrace. The apartment is very small and it is a problem to get to the toilet because of the bed . Instead there could have been a sliding door. There ought to be more towels in the bath and cloth for washing up when you stay for 10 days. It would also be a good thing to have a curtain in the bedroom and to shift out the bad windows.

Bonjour, Je vous écris pour vous faire un petit retour sur notre location. Nous avons passés une semaine formidable à Rome. Le quartier est très agréable et l'appartement également. Cependant il y avait deux ou trois choses qui nous ont parues un peu légères par rapport au prix de la location. Le frigo dans la cuisine ne fonctionne pas. Nous devions mettre les aliments dans le frigo du bas. Un des deux brûleurs ( gaz) ne fonctionne pas ou très bizzarement. Et enfin pour des touristes qui marchent beaucoup il est assez important de pouvoir bien dormir dans un bon lit, ce qui n'est pas le cas. Le lit est très inconfortable à deux. Voilà pour vous alerter sur ces petites choses. Merci pour vos services; Bien à vous

We had a lovely time in this bright, homely apartment, which is in the best of locations - central but still within distance of the heaviest tourist throngs. The terrace is to die for - much work has been done since the photos were taken; and it happens to have a view of St. Peter's which the photo doesn't show. The kitchen is not equipped for avid cooks (no real oven), and the water boiler (for tea) didn't work, but for breakfasts and light meals it's fine. Everything was in full working order in the bathroom. The building is very quiet for a downtown address, which is great if you prefer your sleep to be undisturbed. We would also like to praise Roman Reference for good service, smooth procedures and friendly staff. We wouldn't hesitate using RR again, and we would recommend the apartment to couples, or families with 1 kid, max. 2 if young.

- Très bon emplacement et terrasse avec vue sur St Pierre très agréable mais pourquoi faire l'économie d'un parasol l'été : impossible d'en profiter sauf le matin tôt et le soir. La terrasse du bas est condamnée, le petit balcon donnant sur le bac de douche n'a pas d'intérêt.
Climatisation efficace en bas, l'air chaud reste donc dans l'étage du haut (cuisine). Ménage moyen mais acceptable.
La cafetière électrique fuyait. Plusieurs ampoules électriques grillées.
- Beautiful vue from the terrace above but without parasol, that means that you can't use it in summer except early in the morning or late. Terrace at the bottom is closed. Little balcony on the shower has no interest. A big housekeeping will be good. Electric coffee-pot was broken. Many bulbs were down.

Great location. The window over sink in the kitchen leaks in the rain. Also the large window at the top of the stairs in the kitchen leaks. The hot water heater quit working, but was fixed that day. Wonderful terrace. Enzo was helpful.

Perfect location, loved the terrace. We were very happy with your office staff. Emails were answered promptly and when we arrived we got very good instructions about the bus to the apartment. We will definitely recommend your service to friends and plan on returning ourselves.
