What they liked: location! Location! Equipment and size.
What they liked less: garbage disposal is a bit complicated.
Excellent apartment with great location and amenities!
Allowed us to explore and discover Rome freely and easily.
Only thing: we only undestood a bit too late how the garbage collection functions. The next collection for plastic and paper was after we left, so we had to leave in in the bin. Otherwise, nothing wrong to say!

The apartment was fabulous! Mr. Romano greeted us at the apartment, went through all the details, and despite our horrible Italian he made a great effort to make us feel comfortable. The apartment was quite large, had a great kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room. The apartment was close to the tourist attractions, and the owner left a lot of tips, information and lists of local restaurants/etc for us to try. We highly recommend this apartment.

My husband & I stayed at 17 Vittoria Rome rental for a week in May. We give the apartment a full 5 stars! If you are coming to Rome & this apartment is available, you should take it.

The apartment is a full four room apartment – living /dining room, bedroom, kitchen & bath. It is really quite large, comfortable, lots of natural sunlight. Kitchen has everything you need including a clothes washer. We ate in for breakfast & a couple of dinners given how easy it was to do so. Wi-fi was good & strong – surfed the net and watch movies in the evenings.

The location is fantastic. Full grocery just down the street with full cheese and meat counter & fresh bread. Daily farmer’s market around the corner every morning. Plenty of restaurants – both fancy ones & simple local taverns. Be sure to get a gelato & walk down via del Corso (2 blocks from the apartment) along with all the locals out for their evening stroll.

It’s 5 minutes to Spanish Steps, and 10 minutes to Plaza del Popilio or the Pantheon. At the Spanish Steps there is a subway stop: take it about 5 stops one-way & you are at the Vatican or about 5 stops the other way & you are at the Coliseum/Roman Forum. There are busses that can take you to the Villa Borghese or take a 30-minute walk thru the park to get there.

Another plus about the location is that it gets quiet by midnight. While there are plenty of tourists in the area visiting the Spanish Steps, shopping & going to dinner, they go back to their hotels in other areas of the town. So if you want to have a bit of quiet in the evening, this place is for you.

The landlady is great. She’ll send you a lot of helpful information about the apartment and the area nearby, including links to things like museum ticket offices & the transit authority. She answered all the questions we had within a day. She can arrange for someone to meet you at the airport and drive you to the apartment. It cost less than either a cab or 2 people taking the public transit. You should take this opportunity as it is a great deal & makes your arrival in Rome an easy one.

We spent another 2 weeks in Italy after staying at 17 Vittoria. Of the various accommodations we stayed in – including a couple others in Rome – this was the most enjoyable.

Staying in this apartment was a fantastic experience. Fantastic central location so we could walk everywhere. The apartment was well equiped and a good size for our family of four.

Fantastisk hjælpsomhed ved booking - både fra Roman Reference og udlejer, som f.eks. arrangerede shuttleservice fra/til lufthavnen. Lejligheden har en glimrende beliggenhed. Gåafstand til alle de store seværdigheder, f.eks. ½ time til Colesseum og ½ time til Peters Kirken. Supermarkedet som næsten nabo helt uundværligt. Obs. medbring evt. rejsestik. Ovnen lykkedes det os ikke at få gang i. Airconditioneringen virkede ikke optimalt. Bruserslangen var defekt.

Très bien situé. Près de tout mais ruelle pas trop passante. Propriétaire facilement rejoignable par internet et donne suivi assez rapide aux demandes. Concierge sympatique. Appartement confortable pour 2 personnes, belle fenestration, bien aéré. Seul point négatif: le tapis et le rideau de douche auraient avantage à être changés (usés et tachés, pas attirant....) Avons ADORÉ Rome !

Netter Ansprechpartner, super Lage, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sauber.

Am Morgen Lärm durch vereinzelte Fahrzeuge und Supermarkt Deichselstapler. Dichtere Fenster wünschenswert.

Excellent apartment and space. we loved arriving to a "Bialetti" equipped kitchen!! The "supermercato" next door was a definite plus, Apartment was very child friendly!! Excellent location, rapid response to all email questions. Will recommend to any of our friends who venture to Roma.

What we lik most: location, space, modern design, child friendly, supermercato net door, confortable beds,wireless internet access, Bialetti for coffee.

What we liked least: fridge needs to be colder, TV with "sports" channels, plug in kettle did not work. MANAGEMENT'S REPLY: the kettle has been repaired.
