APARTMENT ROME-VATICAN-VIA CANDIA #1405min. walk from the underground stop Ottaviano; 5min. walk to Vatican City and Vatican Museums;
55sq.mts. nice and fully equipped apartment, recently renovated, set on the fifth floor (attic) with elevator and consists of:
LIVING ROOM
with table and chairs, double sofa bed, tv/vcr/dvd player, cd player, wardrobe, bookshelves, chest of drawers, air conditioning, kitchen corner and window;
KITCHEN CORNER
in living, with gas stove and electric oven, refrigerator and freezer, dish washer, washing machine, microwave, and ventilation system;
BEDROOM
with double bed, 2 bedside tables, wardrobe, air conditioning and window ;
BATHROOM
with shower, bidet and ventilation system;
Independent heating, dish washer, washing machine, microwave, a/c, tv/vcr/dvd, cd player, ADSL, elevator. Monthly possible. Discounts for 2 weeks or more. small pets frendly.

Apartment Owner's Notes and Description
Charming, cosy, fully furnished and recently restored apartment, it’s situated close to the Vatican Museums in a shopping area with an excellent public market, between two subway stations and at ten minutes walking from the historical center of Rome: Campo de’ fiori, Navona square, via Giulia.The apartment is located on the top floor (with elevator) and it’s very quiet with an enchanting, spacious roof terrace overlooking Vatican, with nice and helpful neighbours. The ideal place to enjoy breathtaking views of Rome's roofs while dining “al fresco” with friends. Lovely plants create a magical, unforgettable atmosphere.
The living/dining room has a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen with exquisite table set, excellent hi-fi system, tv/dvd & Ipod doc station, as well as Wifi/adsl. The bedroom has a study-corner, a spacious wardrobe, antique lamps: everything is cosy and refined because It’s my place when I’m in town!
I do invite my guests to feel at home and to take care of it!!
Are you a smoker?? NO PROBLEM! you can smoke with all conforts...in the terrace! Not inside, please....

Great apartment: comfy & stylish, with everything you cd possibly need, aircon & a stove for heating, & a rooftop view over to the Vatican with a table & chairs on the patio for sunny breakfasts (and a place to hang the washing). Patti welcomed me & stayed in touch by email to check everything was ok, & arranged for a cleaner to come in & tidy up & iron some shirts. I was often there during the day to work (great wi-fi) & cd pop over to the wonderful mercato trionfale to buy stupendous pasta & veg -- this not having to eat out all the time was a real money-saver. The flat is a rickety lift ride up four floors, & then up some steps to the roof. Via Candia is a busy road, but once up in the flat it's beautifully quiet. Downstairs you've got everything within a short distance -- St Peter's Sq less than 19 mins walk via the Piazza del Risorgimento, & Ottaviano San Pietro tube 5 mins way. Live like a Roman!

Great location and friendly neighbours - many thanks to them for lending us a cot for our son! Very well equipped kitchen.
In the apartment description, it would be worth specifying that the apartment is on the fifth floor, and the lift only goes as far as the fourth floor. There's also a slight problem with mould on the wall in the bathroom that could be very easily dealt with.
Apart from that, great!

It’s a very nice and cosy apartment in the heart of Rome. It got everything you can need and it has warmth that no hotel room can offer you. The location of the apartment is perfect. You can reach lots of Rome’s main attractions from there just by walking: for example, Vatican museums are just 8-10 minutes away and Castel Sant'Angelo & beautiful Sant'Angelo bridge are just 20 minutes away. There are a supermarket, a very good market with fresh fish, fruits, vegetables and lots of other things and an ATM, all very near the apartment. Neighbors are very nice and friendly. It’s a very nice place and we hope we’ll visit it once (or more) again some time.

Hello Patti, from Canada, we had a wonderful stay in Rome, your apartment was perfect, The location was great,the market across the street and the shopping and restaurants were wonderful. We will certainly recommend your apartment to others.we look forward to coming again next year, We will leave great reviews for you on all the agency websites, sorry we didn't get to say goodbye as we left early for a train to Milano.

It has been a marvelous stay!!! The location is wonderful - app.200 meters to Vatican Museums, 15 mins walk to St.Peter's Square. And this Roman Market with everything so fresh we couldn't resist visiting it twice a day ;-) And breakfasts on the terrace... just perfect! Even though it is by the quite busy street it is very quiet and well isolated.
We fully recommend it to everybody who wishes to visit Rome (also for the honeymoon :) )!

Excellent apartment with a nice terrace full of herbs and flowers: cosy, clean, fully equipped, quiet with kind, helpful neighbours. Very close to Vatican, located between two metro stations and with bus 492 just off the door.

lo hemos pasado muy bien en esta casita tan comoda y acojedora que queda a dos pasos de todo! està justo a lado del Vaticano y se puede ir caminando hasta plaza navona en unos diez minutos. hay dos paradas del metrò a una cuadra y el mercado màs grande y barato de Roma adonde se pueden comprar frutas y vegetales y toda la buena comida italiana...la cocina es super bien equipada para prepararse una romantica cena en la teraza!!

thanks so much for allowing us to stay in this beautiful apartment! We've had a wonderful time exploring the city, knowing we had such a lovely, quite place to come home to. it's going to be tough to leave! we couldn't have hoped for better accomodations especially during the busy Easter wekend! we'll definitely book you up again next time we're in town! mille grazie et arrivederci!

Very well located between 2 Metro Station with 492 Bus that goes into the Main Tourist Area at the door. Close to the Vatican. Excellent apartment, clean and well furnished. It would be nice to be given an orientation sheet specific to the apartment that would indicate the location of the market, main shops, bus stop and metro station. Also an Internet cafe located near the apartment.
