APARTMENT ROME-SPAGNA - VIA DEL CORSO- #366Modern and elegant apartment set in Via del Corso one of the most well known Roman streets, 5 minutes walk from Piazza del Popolo and Piazza di Spagna.
GROUPS NOTE: THIS APARTMENT IS ON THE SAME BUILDING OF Apartment Rome listing #175 andApartment Rome listing #388.
20sq.mts, quiet apartment set on the second floor without elevator (about 20 steps). Ceiling in the kitchen and in the bathroom is 1.80mts high. This studio is in the same building of apartment #388.It consists of:
BEDROOM
with double bed, table, bookshelves, wardrobe, satellite tv, dvd, stereo, air conditioning and window leading to:
BALCONY
with patio furniture, table and chairs overlooking pleasant inner courtyard;
KITCHEN
with electric stove, fridge and window;
BATHROOM
with shower, electric water heater and window.
Independent heating, quiet, satellite tv, dvd, stereo, a/c, no elevator, no phone, balcony.Monthly possible.

Es ist alles da. Man braucht nur Zahnbürste und Hausschuhe. Das Bett ist sehr groß für 2 Leute und angenehm. Wir haben 12 Tage übernachtet und gekocht. Kleine Lebensmittelladen sind in 200m Entfernung. Einfach fragen. Man bekommt immer eine ausführliche Antwort. 80% sprechen englisch. Die Wohnlage ist die beste welcher man sich wünschen kann. Wir haben die Stadt einfach genossen wie es ist. Und vor allem wegen Fußgängerzone sehr leise und angenehm. Vorsicht es sind sehr viele Modegeschäfte auf der Via del Corso. Es kann teuer werden. This small, actually, compact, quiet and secure apartment is well situated with access to Metro, bus lines along via Corso (though we did not find a bus route map). However, with luggage it is much easier to take a cab from Termini. In the hot weather the AC was needed and it worked well. The small porch floor is unattractive but functional, but the wall fold away table was amazingly well designed. The guide books on shelf were helpful. Grocery story two short blocks away. Found no BBC on TV! WiFi at more than one bar nearby. Recommended highly.

Good things: location, location, location! If you're a shopper, this is where to stay! The apartment was clean. It was quaint and just right for our budget.
Not-so-good things: The shower needs somme major help. It does not drain; both while you're showering and long after you finish showering. The shower needs a total makeover; new tile/grout, new paint on the ceiling (due to the low ceiling in the shower, it has the tendency to mold; I'd paint the surrounding walls with KILLS, a paint that helps with mold/mildue), and some major help with the drain. It was NOT dirty, and the mildue is 100% from the moisture.
I'd also provide MANY more clean towels upfront, and a clean set of sheets. The dirt and stuff we tracked in on our shoes ended up in our bed. A clean set half-way through the week would have been GREAT!
Also, please clean out the overhead lamp in the main room. There are some bugs in there.
Again, the apartment was clean, cute and in the PERFECT location. It could just use a few improvements! It actually reminds me of my first apartment; small and older with the opportunities for some improvements.
Loved Rome! Upon our next trip (we'll certainly return), we *may* look into a hotel only because we're bratty Americans who would like room service each day the next time we visit. We may possibly look into one of the higher-end rentals, as well.

This apartment is everything it claims to be, no more, no less. Although I must say while we were only expecting "function", not "charm," we were pleasantly surprised and agreed that it had a bit of a "Roman Holiday" feel to it, especially because of the location and the small terrace that overlooks a courtyard. The courtyard is used to extend the space of a clothing boutique on the ground floor. The low ceilings in the kitchen and bathroom were not a problem for either of us, but might be if you are over 6 feet. The equipment in the kitchen was basic but well thought through, so there was nothing I couldn't cook. The only thing missing was an iron, which we did not need, but which would have been an issue if we had. The location is fabulous. The apartment was in good shape - clean and in working order. We were lucky to have hit fabulous weather, and the ability to make use of the small terrace, I must admit, made a tremendous difference. I highly recommend this apartment, as long as you realize it is small, but efficient, and are not looking for luxury.We met the owner on a morning when she came to change our sheets and towels, midway in our stay. She was absolutely lovely, and even spent some time helping us book train tickets to Naples and Pompeii since we don't speak Italian.

The location was fabulous. It was cute. It has extremely low ceilings so I was worried that my 6 foot tall husband would bang his head when entering the kitchen/bathroom. He didn't, but if you are tall you might want to rethink this apartment.

Die Lage des Appartments ist perfekt. Man kann alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sehr gut zu Fuss erreichen. Das Appartment selber ist sehr klein und die Raumhöhe im Bereich Toilette, Bad, Küche dürfte kaum 180 cm betragen!
Als sehr angenehm ist der kleine Balkon zu bezeichnen. Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Gracie

El apartamento es pequeño pero muy bién situado, limpio y acogedor. A tener en cuenta la altura del techo en el baño cocina (1,80), pues alguien mas alto tiene que ir encorvado, aunque en la ducha está bien resuelto con una banqueta para sentarse. El balcón está bien pero solo lo usamos para desayunar y muy pronto por la mañana, ya que dá a un patio interior agradable pero con la salida de los aires acondicionados que hacen ruido asà que durante el dia el ruido no es muy motivador. Eso sà las ventanas aislan bien el ruido y el aire acondicionado fiunciona muy bien.

We were positively surprised of the little things that were in the appartment (like umbrellas or adapter) and loved the perfect location. A second tea towel would be great... The staff is very friendly.
