We have had a fabulous stay in this apartment.  The aparment is clean and far more spacious than the photos show.  Our party was 2 adults and 2 children both aged 6 and there was plenty of room for us all.

The welcome package of tea, coffee, milk and a few other items was an absolute godsend, meaning we could have a coffee straight after we checked in without a trawl to the shops.

There is a wide selection of playstation games, which my husband played in the evening once the kids had gone to bed and there are a few music cds and film dvds (mainly in Italian but some had the option for English language.

The location is fantastic, about 100 metres to the Via del fori Imperialli (main road along side Forum leading to both Collussuem & Vittoria Emmanuelle.

There is an abundance of resturants below the apartment, with a mini market selling basics and wine across the street.

Although the apartment is on a main road, it is located on the second floor and is fairly quiet with the windows closed.

The kitchen is fairly small but well equipped with everything you would need.  We only used it for breakfast and making a picnic to take out for lunch.  We ate out in the evenings.

I will definately be staying here again and will be recommending it to friends and family.

Have previously stayed at this apartment.  We were not disappointed with our return.  There was a minor problem with lighting in the kitchen, but I guess that is a sign that the kitchen is rarely used to prepare evening meals.  Other than that minor issue, should we again get the opportunity to return to Rome we would have no hesitation with booking this apartment again.  The apartment contact "Enzo" was very helpful.

There were five sisters staying in this apartment and for the most part, we were very happy with it.  We thought it was large and comfortable, loved the location and loved that there were two full bathrooms.  However, we had no hot water on several days and called for help.  We know you sent a technician, but the problem was not solved.  We figured out how to turn on the switch on the hot water heater on the patio, and had to do this many times in order to shower in hot water.  We had to go without showering for a few days at the beginning of our week.

On another issue, and I know this is not your fault, nor could you have prevented it, but on several nights there was very loud noise, (stomping and furniture moving) which woke us up, from the apartment directly above us.  It happened very, very late at night and woke us all up.  I tell you this for your information only.  I know it was not avoidable, but it did impact our sleep for a few nights.

Thank you for asking about our experience.

These are my new go-to apartments for large groups. The decor is lovely yet functional, the kitchen was stocked with breakfast essentials, there were plenty of towels, everything was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, the wifi worked great, and the location couldn't be any better.  There wasn't anything we needed or wanted that wasn't within 3 blocks of the apartments. Service was perfect and timely. Only a text away for questions.

I'm going back in March and will be renting these apartments again. I have a new and lovely neighborhood in Rome - I LOVE IT! The prefect arrangement!

We stayed only 3 nights at Vito’s apartment in Rome, but it was one of our best choices in our 5 week travels in Italy.
The apartment is conveniently close to Termini railway station and the two metro lines, but far enough away to be beyond the sleeziness of that area.

The apartment is spacious and very stylishly decorated and the bathroom and kitchen have recently been nicely renovated.  The kitchen is well equiped and Vito had kindly added a welcome bottle of wine.  The wifi was very fast and reliable.

The reservation arrangements were very professionally handled, as was meeting us at the start and end of our stay.

The online video gives a good idea of this comfortable apartment.  Warmly recommended.

Great, well priced and located apartment for our stay in Rome. Hosts were extremely helpful and welcoming. Bus and Tram at the door, close to supermarket, restuarants and major attractions. Quiet, extremely clean and well stocked. Owners have thought of including the 'little things' that make stays more comfortable. Would happily stay there again and recommend it to our family and friends.

the apartment was everything we hoped it would be.  The climb up 4 flights of stairs was worth it to sit on the terrace and enjoy Rome and the Campo below...a glass of wine in hand, supper cooked in the splendidly equipped kitchen (including coffee/salt/sugar/oil - often not included in holiday lets)...what more could we want?  The bed is a tad soft and the bedroom is not big but we didn't care...the terrace (and the location) made it a perfect place.  Enzo was there to meet us and explain how it all worked.

Enzo greeted us and helped carry our suitcase up the many many flights of stairs.  He was so very helpful and his English was wonderful.

Before I start I have to say that I feel quite guilty leaving a more negative than positive review because all the reviews I read before heading to Rome were great.

No-one mentioned the noise from a local bar, which went on until 3.30am!  I'm so grateful that I brought my ipod with me and learned to sleep with my own music blaring in my ears because the noise from the pub, people shouting and motorbikes revving (harley davidson or triumph because only these two have such noisy exhausts!) were terrible.  This was then followed by being woken around 5am with the bin lorries emptying all the glass bottles.  My poor mum has problems with her back and gets little enough sleep on a nightly basis but this didn't help at all.

It's a lovely building but not for the faint of heart and contrary to the reviews I read there are 5 flights of stairs to the apartment (not four!) - which were not mentioned in the apartment description when I booked.  When I found out about them I was concerned about my mum but the reviews didn't make too much of a fuss so we both hoped it would be ok.  Including the stairs to the mezzanine inside the apartment itself there are 84 stairs up and 84 stairs back down - twice a day we climbed them.  I do zumba twice a week and go out running every morning and after walking around Rome visiting some of the tourist attractions then climbing up and down these stairs even I was nearly crying on occasion and my poor mum has arthritis in her knees.  I didn't know about the stairs when I booked the apartment and although it was very central this is only one of the things that would stop me staying here again.

It also wasn't the cleanest - my mum was sleeping in the mezzanine and I chose to sleep on the fold-down couch and when I opened it up the seam in the middle was full of other people's hair and crumbs, it was horrible.  The shower door wasn't very clean either.  There was a damp mop in the kitchen - and didn't it just smell like it.  I wish we'd had a balcony to put it out to air because it was a horrible smell and closing it in the kitchen only made it worse when we went to make a drink and opened the door.

I can't criticise the apartment for its accessibility to all the places you would want to visit Rome to see.  We walked to the Colosseum, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, and the Trevi Fountain, the Piazza Navona was virtually on our doorstep and the Castel Sant Angelo was about 5 minutes away making the Vatican City about 15 mins away from the apartment and we certainly made the most of the location.  The weather was glorious and the architecture and history of the city wonderful.

I hope that the next visitors have a more pleasant experience.  I'm not normally so critical but I was a bit disappointed with the cleanliness and if the apartment owner is paying a cleaner between visitors then they should seriously think about changing them.

This apartment has a great location in Rome - just some steps to Campo de Fiori! But in the same time it is noisy enough because a lot of tourists in this area - but there is no problem when the windows are closed. It is small - maximum for 3 persons, the decoration is modern and bright. Staying there could be very nice if all equipment would work (the air condition, iron and toaster were broken).

We loved this apartment. There were three of us: my mother, myself and my 11-year-old son and we fit perfectly. The apartment beds were both really comfortable and the bathroom a good size. The elevator was a bonus for my mum and for ease of bringing luggage up. But the best part of the apartment is the fabulous location. A stone's throw from Campo de' Fiori but in a really quiet location. You can walk to the Pantheon, the Piazza Navona, easy access to bus services to the Vatican, Termini and not a particularly long walk to the Foro Romano even. All of us really enjoyed the apartment and would highly recommend it to others.

We truly enjoyed our stay in the apartment. Spacious, well equipped, decorated in an arty and fun way - the grandchildren  just loved the blue bathroom! We LOVED the location  - in the middle of every Roman attraction, just a minute away from the gorgeous market at Campo dei Fiori and lots of good restaurants and walking distance to many sights. Loved the top terrace where we had our breakfast and where we relaxed after a long day of sightseeing. Indeed, we'll love to come back anytime!

Positiv:
- absolut geniale Lage mitten in Travestere, Rom

We loved the location. The apartment was central to all the sites in Rome which made walking possible.  We also walked to the train station which was a good  hike but doable.  It was also nice and quiet but only steps away if you wanted more activity as in the Campo Dei Fiori..
We were met at the apartment as arranged and the check in went smoothly.  We were not advised of the check out time which apparently was 10AM.  I suggest that this be posted on the back of the door or included in the initial information  recieved when the booking is confirmed. We had to leave the apartment two hours prior to our anticipated departure.
As previous reviews have stated this apartment requires a paint of coat.
We would stay at this apartment again.

If you are nervous about renting an apartment in Rome, don't be.  Amazing, completely remodeled apartment in a very safe, bustling area of Rome.  You are literally steps from Ponte Sisto and a very short walk to Camp Di Fiori.  There are excellent coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, bars, take out food, small shops and grocery stores all within 100 yards of the apartment.  The area is a mecca for Americans and other English speaking tourists so language is not a barrier (there is a cafe around the corner near Ponte Sisto that serves a full American/English breakfast if you are missing your morning eggs). Longer, but very dooable walks to the Vatican and all the sites of the main tourist attractions of Rome -- without the overpriced expense of staying in the middle of all the attractions. Our longest walk was to the Collesium / Forum.  We even rented a scooter for two days (at a rental shop right around the corner from the apartment).

We loved the apartment.  All amenities are new.  The new washer/dryer was wonderful (we carried-on all our luggage for a 10 day trip!).  The wifi worked excellent and all our devices/computers connected giving us fast reliable internet access.  The kitchen has everything you could ever need to prepare fresh meals at your home away from home, which we did.  The apartment has tons of light and large windows that open onto a tiny piazza and running fountain on the street below.  (It seemed that everyone with a camera loves the location -- literally any time we looked out the window day or night someone was taking a picture of the buildings and the small piazza).  We had a few hot days so the air conditioning was key (there are new wall units in the main living area and the bedroom).

It is a big city so security is always a concern.  The aparment is guarded by a double key deadbolt on the ground floor and then a seperate steel security door on the second floor and then yet another door to your apartment.  There is also a steel safe inside the apartment.  Tons of light on the street and mostly tourists and locals wandering around at night.  We always felt safe entering and leaving and had many restful nights.

The owner and his staff are worth five stars alone.  All emails and phone calls were cordial and helpful.  The owner greated us upon arrival and his wonderful assitant showed us all the bells and whistles of the apartment.  When we arrived at the airport there was a cell issue making it hard to reach the key holder, but we called Roman Reference and the staff was wonderful to deal with.  This small glitch never slowed us down and the owner was waiting for us when we arrived.

Simply one of the most amazing trips of our life (it was our first wedding anniversary) and the apartment -- and its location -- were a big part of our wonderful experience in Rome.  If you are looking at 100s of apartments online (like we did) -- you can stop looking.  Rent this apartment, you will not be disappointed.

Pros:  The location, the apartment is located near Cavour metro and at walking distance from Forum and Colosseum and in a busy and trendy street full of restaurants and bars.  There are supermarkets at Piaza Maria Magiori and nearby bakery and small convenience stores.  The size of kitchen/eaten/sofa area is OK and have good light as there 2 windowns with a view to the street. The wi-fi works well. The wooden floor and size of corridor is good. The kitchen has salt and sugar for you to use and there was a small bottle of oilve oil too.

Cons: Bathroom is small and the lenght of shower curtian is short and therefore water leak into the floor and you have to clean it at all time.  The shower does not hold steady in the hook so you have to have it on one hand and clean yourself with the other (useless).
If you want to cook the kitchen is badly equipped; the burners are slow and there is kettle but you need to use it in the gas cooker.  There no salad bolws, it has cheap utensils and low quality pans
The bed room is small and there is not natural light, if you come for more than 3/4 days you need to bring your own bedding and towel unless as they do not leave you a spare towels or bedding.  You can use the washing machine but then it may not dry during the day. The quality of the bedding (sheets and cover) and the pillows is poor. One of the chair is broken and has not been replaced it.

As the payment settlement is in cash, I suggest the owner needs to make an small invesment to improve the overall condition of the apartment to  make the stay of guests a more pleasant one

Superb location, quiet residential area (10 min. walk to the Coliseum and walking distance to most sites). Restaurants and grocery stores around. Beautiful, clean and well equipped apartment (Nespresso machine, etc.). Very welcoming and helpful host. She left champagne and cake for our anniversary and printed tickets for us. Stella made our stay very enjoyable in Rome. We would definitely stay there again!
only one negative aspect: the bed was not very comfortable.
