-This apartment could be substantially pleasanter with a little work by the owner. There is not a hook or rack to hang things on in the bathroom, the shower head has a crack in it, so that it sprays out the side, the toilet seat is loose, and the locks on the windows are old and rusted, so that it is a struggle to lock them (see below). A single roll of paper towels would allow one to wash dishes without having to go shopping right
after arrival. And it should be mentioned explicitly that the
apartment windows are right on a roof, so that one is advised on arrival that one should keep the windows locked whenever not in the apartment. Management Reply Sorry to read this! It must have been a coincidence we always look after these details. It's all fixed now besides the roll of paper for the dishes, since in Italy we don't do that but just hang them to dry on the appropriate hanging rack above the sink. Please note: the roof you mention is strictly private to the building, you make it sound as a dangerous on-street entry which is undeserved really. Also I would have welcomed a note of appreciation among all the above critics since you found air conditioning in the apartment which was not included at the moment of booking. At any rate your comments are helpful, thank you for that! If you tell us right away we fix minor issues like these on the spot. Next time!

Thanks so much for the use of this great apartment!It was perfect!We even used the hairdryer in the desk drawer but were never "home" enough to use the "cooker". We only wish we would have stayed here instead of somewhere else on the first 2 nights of our 2 weeks trip!Your travel hints were terrific + would have come in handy of that time. a neat apartment . excellent location. no audible street noise. and a perfect loaded kitchenette! cafe's and restaurants nearby and of course the ever green "FASSI" nearby. The place for an excellent gellato !! would love to be back again !!. this is the view of all the three who stayed here. just to make sure we come back again, we even threw the coin into the fontana de trevi !!

Apartment was very dingy, with no space and poorly maintained. This apartment was not worth at all for the price we paid for 3 nights. Management Reply Sorry to read you were disappointed, there seems to be a problem of expectations here. Unfortunately you can't expect high class service from an apartment that on weekly last minute rentals costs less than a youth hostel (20 euro per person). As we mention in the Q&A prices for very short stays aren't much competitive in vacation rentals (for 3 nights you'll easily double the price). The reason is simple, once you pay off the laundry service, the cleaner, the guy who takes care of ck ins, the utilities for your stay and, invariably, a handyman to fix last minute itches 200 euro are out of hand of pure expenses. Add to that a terribly strong Euro and the exchange rate and chances are you get disappointed clients. Sorry about that, the only way to solve this is not renting for very short lets, it's being taken into consideration.

Appartement très calme et très propre avec tout le confort nécessaire. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

TV system not working properly only 3 channels but not in continuous. Please have terrace in front of flat window cleaned because it is full of garbages.

L'appartement est globalement propre, bien situé, spacieux, mais pas pratique du tout ! On se douche quasiment dans le lavabo (sans rideau), le four ne fonctionne pas et l'échelle pour monter dans le lit est une épreuve de force (à réaliser avec chaussures), sans compter que le moitié des prises électriques (et donc de l'éclairage) est hors service.

Merci beaucoup pour vos commentaires! Je suis vraiment désolé d'apprendre vos inconvénients lors de votre séjour.
En effet, la salle de bain ( comme indiqué dans la description) est une douche "ouverte" et il est préférable d'y entrer pieds nus. Etant donné que c'est une douche ouverte, il est donc normal de mouiller le lavabo et d'autre part, l'espace de douche est au moins 3 fois supérieur à la norme.
Concernant le four, nous l'avons testé, et je suis navré de vous apprendre qu'il marche; je ferai en sorte d'informer comment fonctionne le four à la personne en charge de remettre les clefs. J'ai également installé un four à micro onde à présent.
Je suis vraiment désolé que vous n'ayez pas aimé la petite échelle qui est pour moi, ma petite pointe de fierté dans l'appartement. Certes, elle n'est pas confortable, mais je ne comprends pas pourquoi aviez vous besoin de chaussures, mais après tout, j'ai bien noté dans la description que l'appartement est mieux adapté aux jeunes personnes. Ce que je veux dire c'est, l'appartement est ok (confortable), mais pas dans le standard luxueux.
Nous avons fixé toutes les prises électriques qui étaient cassées, mes excuses.
J'espère avoir le plaisir travailler de nouveau avec vous pour que je puisse vous montrer les améliorations apportées!

Acheter 2 chaises hautes supplémentaires pour la table à manger.
Acheter un canapé convertible de taille standard pour accueillir 2 personnes. Le canapé actuel est trop petit pour 2 adultes.
D'autre part, nous avons été surpris qu'il n'y ait pas d'inventaire du matériel à l'arrivée. C'est commode mais peut-être un peu risqué puisque vous demandez les caractéristiques de la carte bancaire pour caution! Vous misez sur la confiance réciproque. c'est bien tant que les locataires sont sérieux!

L'appartamento era comodo, abbastanza pulito (salve il grande tapetto). Ma il materiale hi-fi sotto il frigorifer funzionava malissimo. Comunque tutto ok. Ben collegato con bus e metro. Tornero' ad agosto. ( ho visto sul foglio che mi ha dato Enz che avro' uno sconto sul prezzo la prossima volta).

Lage der Wohnung ist klasse um Rom zu erkunden. Stühle am Esstisch sind extrem unbequem (die 2 weißen sind halbwegs ok, aber die Stahlrohrsitzflächen der anderen beiden sind furchtbar). SAT-Receiver kann offensichtlich viele Programme empfangen - der TV aber nur RAI 1 - 2 - 3 wiedergeben.

Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral in einem Wohnviertel, nähe Hauptbahnhof Termini. Mit der Metro (Fußweg 2 Minuten) alles leicht und schnell erreichbar, die Busse sind wegen Unpünktlichkeit und Überfüllung nicht zu empfehlen. Supermarkt mit normalen Preisen in der Nähe (via Buenarotti, Fußweg 5 Minuten). Die Wohnung ist ruhig, auch im Hochsommer dank der kleinen Fenster und dicken Mauern angenehm kühl. Während unseres Aufenthaltes wurde sogar eine Klimaanlage eingebaut, die allerdings kaum nötig ist. Die Einrichtung ist zweckmäßig im Hinblick auf eine beabsichtigte Erkundung der Stadt. Großen Komfort darf man nicht erwarten. Ohne Rückenleiden kann man das Hochbett über die Leiter problemlos erreichen. Lediglich das Waschbecken im Bad ist ungeeignet, man kann sich aber dank des Spülbeckens in der Küche arrangieren. Auch das TV funktionierte nicht. Küche, Dusche und Toilette sind aber o.k. Auch war alles sauber. Alles in allem eine für 2 Personen, die die Stadt von zentraler Stelle aus erkunden wollen und nicht den häuslichen Standard erwarten, eine gute Wahl. Im Viertel fühlten wir uns jederzeit sicher, auch abends. Wir würden uns wieder so entscheiden.

Der Geräuschpegel war in Ordnung. Man konnte gut schlafen. Die Lage der Wohnung war super. Herrlich zentral.
Im Badezimmer war leider Schimmel, was man dann auch nach jeder Dusche, wenn der Raum feucht war, entsprechend gerochen hat. über der Toilette war der Beuler angebracht. Er war undicht und tropfte stetig auf die Toilette, so dass die Brille immer unangenehm naß war.
Weiterhin hatten wir keine Möglichkeit, unsere Kleidung unterzubringen. Der einzig vorhandene Schrank war hochvoll mit Decken und diversen anderen Dingen belegt.
Zur Küchenausstattung folgender Hinweis: Es wäre schön, wenn wenigstens eine Salatschüssel vorhanden gewesen wäre. So mussten wir unseren Salat in einer alten Bratpfanne anrichten.
Owner's Note: The bathroom is repainted every 6 months (jan 2010 has been repainted again), problem is that being so small it easily becomes a steam bath after one long shower, which is very enjoyable, but one should open both windows after it otherwise it immediatly gets mouldy. We're taking uttermost attention to this problem now and the cleaner brings anti mould with her every time she goes. The water heater has been changed (jan 2010) so that problem is also fixed. We've bought a salad bowl. Thanks a million for your feedback!

Die Wohung hat eine supertolle Lage und schön ruhig. Es ist alles sehr schnell zu erreichen - Metro keine 5 Minuten zu gehen. Die Wohung hat alles was man braucht. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Würden diese Wohung jederzeit wieder buchen.

Mitten im Herzen von Rom, Super Ausgangslage für die Stadtbesichtigung, 10 min. zu Fuß zum Colosseum, 3 min. zur U-Bahn, 10 min. zum Hauptbahnhof, 10 min. zum Markt, 20 min. mit der U-Bahn zum Vatikan usw., nettes Viertel, freundliche Leute, Pizza um die Ecke, freundlicher und unkomplizierter Vermieter, spricht auch deutsch, Wohnung ist rustikal, alles drin was man braucht, hat auch alles funktioniert, am Hochbett fehlt die Seitenbegrenzung, sonst für Familie geeignet, typisches Wohnhaus, Preis für römische Verhältnisse Top. Hat Spaß gemacht! Gerne wieder!

Quite a good location. Could be a decent place if it was cleaned. The promised internet didn't work and i gave up on it after about 5 calls to roman reference and the owner of the apartment.Owner Replies: Regarding the cleaning I've been told the water heater technician had been in right before you came and after the cleaners were in. I reckon he may have created some dust right before your arrival and you may be referring to that when you complain about cleaning. We're terribly sorry about that! Please always tell us when there are issues like this, we will immediately send the cleaners in. Regarding the internet we are investigating with the provider, over the phone while you were there they said it was working, testing wifi on my own macair computer it works. I don't know what could have been the matter frankly.

Offering should indicate there is no Air Conditioning. Appartment required some ventilation and was dusty.

In Italy a/c isn't considered a basic (like for example the heating), this is why we include it as an optional amenity in the search engine. Sorry to read about the dust, the apartment has 3 windows and a ceiling fan, the combination of open window and fan does quickly create some dust in the apartment. I'm making sure to ask the cleaners to pay double attention to it. We do inform both in the Q&A and in the confirmation email that late arrivals incur an extra charge.
