We arrived on the 24th but could not get in touch with the key holder. Had to spend another $400 on a hotel room for one night. When we did get in touch with him he became a bit irritated with my husband, blaming us for the problem of our arrival. Never once saying he was sorry. Once we got to the apartment it was just fair. Not enough light to read by and needed a better cleaning job before our arrival. The location was perfect and we didn't mind climbing the 86 steps up to the apartment at least twice a day. It helped burn off the calories from all the wonderful food.

Location is great, beds are very comfortable, well equipped, clean and spacious. 1 light was burnt out and we could not figure out how to work the TV. Finally we did. But instructions for TV are necessary.

We were extremely happy with this apartment !. The location of the apartment was ideal i.e very, very central, and the apartment itself was spacious and very well maintained. For 2 couples sharing, this apartment was extremely good value for money and I would highly recomend it. There are a few flights of stairs to climb to get to the apartment so it may not suit everyone, but for those fit enough, the climb helps work up an apetite for the cities wonderful food, superb vino and of course absolutely delicious gellato.

Pros: Great location, washing machine, dishwasher.

Cons: One bathroom not working. Needed a better cleaning and if you plan to stay there, i would bring some dirty clothes to clean the place with bleach first. Airconditioning worked but was not as comfortable as a north american would expect. Leaking water heater.
